Our mission
In many African cultures, the word palabre names that time of collective speech and shared deliberation where every voice counts and the community builds itself. That is the tradition we want to carry on — in the digital age.
Palabre brings together African and diasporic authors from every discipline: economists, political scientists, writers, entrepreneurs, researchers, activists. What they share is demanding writing, thought rooted in the realities of the continent, and the will to feed debates that genuinely matter.
For readers, Palabre offers analyses, op-eds and newsletters that go beyond clichés and shortcuts. For authors, it is a platform that values their work and connects them with an engaged, global audience.
